There is nothing to install and no card needed to begin. Each field is entered per language, so you decide exactly what each guest reads.

Pricing is one-time, per occasion, with no subscriptions. There is a free tier for a taster site, and paid plans add unlimited events, custom domain connect and day-of check-in. Each household gets a private magic link, so there is no account to create and no password to remember. They open the link, see their invitation, and reply for everyone in their group in one place. RSVP is offline-first, so a reply started on a patchy connection is saved and syncs when the signal returns.

Yes. The site is trilingual in English, Sinhala and Tamil, and guests choose their language for both reading and replying. Because you enter content per field in each language, an aunty in Jaffna and a cousin in London can each RSVP comfortably in the script they read best.

You invite per household rather than per person. Share the household magic link however suits your families: copy the link, send it over WhatsApp, or send it by email. Building a large guest list is quicker with a CSV import, so you can bring in names and contacts in bulk and send from there.

Utsawa supports multi-event and multi-ceremony schedules, so a poruwa, a reception and a next-day function can all live on one site. Each event carries its own timezone, which matters when family are watching from Colombo, Chennai, Sydney and Toronto at once. Guests always see the times in a way that makes sense for where they are.

Guest access is already private by design: RSVP runs on per-household magic links rather than a public login, so only people you invite reach their invitation. For an extra layer, paid plans let you gate the site so it is not openly browsable, keeping the details among your invited families.

On the day, check-in lets your team mark households as arrived from a phone, so the welcome desk moves quickly and you know who is in the room. Because RSVP is offline-first, check-in keeps working even where venue wifi is weak, and updates sync once you are back online.

Custom domains are available on paid plans. Point a domain you own at your site by adding the DNS records we show you, and once it verifies your guests visit your own web address. If you get stuck on DNS, send us the domain and we will help - reach us at hello@utsawa.com.
